Happy spring everyone! It's always a slow start (and a little daunting!!) at the beginning of the year, but little by little, parts start stacking up and by spring we're off!!! With the weather warming up and everything in bloom, production is humming along and we’re looking forward to our spring Online Sale happening…

THURSDAY, MAY 2ND at 10AM PT

We’ll be posting 500 pans again for the Online Sale - this is half our yearly inventory and production is ongoing. Orders are processed as they're received and will ship May 15th to November 15th - feel free to reach out a couple of weeks after the sale for an estimated shipping timeline. You can find more information about how the Online Sale works on our SHOP page and please reach out if you have any questions or run into any issues on sale day!

And if you're local or visiting, hope you can swing by the workshop for our Open Studio Hours - we’re here every 1st Sunday and Patrick’s always demoing! We're located in Ballard at 1122 NW 46th ST - just look for the vintage Volvoes of X-Ray Auto, we’re the last set of bay doors. Doors are open 1-4pm every 1st Sunday of the month, stop by if you’re in the neighborhood!

Holiday Sales & Open Houses

We just shipped off the last of the pans for the Online Sale - hooray! It’s always a scramble towards the end, but everything is on the way! Thanks everyone!!

Now we’re getting ready for the holidays and looking forward to some upcoming events happening…

Saturday & Sunday, December 2nd & 3rd

~ Our Holiday Popup Sale is Saturday, December 2nd, 1-5pm - we’ll have lots of pans and as many special items as we can make - hope to see you!

~ We'll be at the shop for our Open Studio with forging demos Sunday, December 3rd, 1-5pm - Patrick will demo throughout the day, hope you can stop by and see how the pans are made!

~ We’re excited these events are happening the same weekend as the Open Houses and Holiday Sales of our neighbors Salty Dog Studios & Bazaz Studios - lots to see! Click HERE for all the details and links.

And if you can’t make it to the studio, our annual online Holiday Lottery is happening Sunday, December 3rd! It opens at noon west coast time and closes the following Monday morning, December 4th at 10am. You can see a preview and read all about how the lottery works HERE.

Spring Sales!

Winters in the shop give us some much needed downtime - it’s a chance to repair old machinery and play around again. The forge was well overdue for a rebuild this year and we had fun forging some hardware for the house - it felt good to check off some to-dos before getting back into the swing of things!

With the new forge roaring back to life, we've been busy stock piling parts for the year and we’re looking forward to our spring sales coming up soon!!

Our annual Online Sale is happening Thursday, April 27th at 10am PT! We'll be posting 500 pans with a 6 month processing time. Production is ongoing and orders are processed as they are received - orders will ship May 15th through November 15th. You can find more information about how the sale works on our SHOP page and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

If you're in Seattle or up for a visit, we hope you can make it to our spring Studio Sale on Saturday, May 20th! Doors open at 1pm and we'll be hammering away until 5pm - we'll have guest demonstrators, some special items and 100+ pans! Details can be found HERE - we’ll post more photos as we get closer to the date!

We also have ongoing Monthly Lotteries and Open Studios every 1st Sunday of the month - notices and links are posted in the banner at the top of our website. Winter's here...already!

Whew…it was a dodgeball summer of production, but the last of the pans for the Online Sale have finally made it to the sandblaster! They're working through a backlog, but it won't be long now and we'll get these last few orders out to you very soon! Thank you all so much, you’ve been so wonderful and we wish you many, many fantastic meals!!!

And now we're hammering away for the holidays!!! It’s cozy and oh so busy in the workshop - we always look forward to this time of year and we’re excited for our upcoming events!!

The Holiday Lottery will open at 3pm west coast time Sunday, December 4th - it closes the following Monday morning, December 5th at 10am. Spring happenings...

It's been a long winter, but spring has finally sprung in the studio at last! It feels good to be gearing up for our 10th year of pan making and we are beyond thrilled to open up our doors for a studio sale this year, hooray!

These last couple of years have certainly shaken things up around here, but one nice thing the shut down gave us was a little more time to play during our down time. Patrick made a few sculptures over the winter break, so we’re excited to have these along with some special items and 100+ pans for our studio sale, which is coming up soon!

Our spring Studio Sale is happening Saturday, May 7th! Doors open at noon and we'll be at it until 4pm. This will be an outdoor event with guest demonstrators - masks are optional while waiting outside and required while ordering, please let us know if you have any questions. Our workshop is located in Ballard at 1122 NW 46th ST, Seattle, WA 98107 - just look for the vintage Volvos of X-ray Auto.

Our annual Online Sale is also coming up on Thursday, May 26th at 10am PT. We’ll be posting 500 pans for this sale, and as always, production is ongoing with orders being processed as they are received - shipping starts in June and the last of the orders ship out in November, just in time for Thanksgiving! Please note that since the Online Sale sells out SO fast, we also have Monthly Lotteries every 1st Sunday, which happen at a much more leisurely pace! Forging for the holidays!

We just shipped out the last of the Online Sale orders - hooray! Thank you all so much for waiting - we had a few difficulties along the way, but all the pans made it out and we hope you’re making some wonderful meals! It’s been another epic year and you’ve all been so amazing and gracious, thank you!

It’s feeling more festive in the studio as we head into the winter season…cold and blustery outside, but warm and cozy by the forge. We’ve been hammering away and parts are piling up - feels good to be getting ready for this upcoming holiday season.

Since everything is still so uncertain, we're canceling our Holiday Studio Sale again this year - we really miss these local sales, but we'll be working hard to make as many pans as we can for the Holiday Lottery, which is just a month away!

Holiday Lottery happening Sunday, December 5th!

The Holiday Lottery opens at 3pm west coast time Sunday, December 5th and closes the following Monday morning, December 6th at 10am. In order to ramp up production and process as many orders as we can, we'll be posting individual pan categories for each of the 10" and 13" pans. We’ll also have a few special items, including the Sauciers and Salt Bowl Sets - you can see a preview and read all the details about how it works HERE.

If you were hoping to enter for the Choice of Pans category, our November Monthly Lottery is happening this Sunday, November 7th and we’ll be selecting an extra large batch of recipients this month!

Also, if you’re local and have been missing our Open Studios (it’s actually us that’s missing them!), we’ll be opening up our workshop the first Sunday of the month in November and December. Masks are required and Patrick will be demoing noon to 3pm - swing by if you’re in the neighborhood!

Ahhh spring...getting ready for the big sale!

Hope you’re all hanging in there and getting through the pandemic in one piece…it’s been a heck of a ride to say the least and we hope you’re all well!

After a bumpy start, aka a massive repair to the hydraulic press (gulp!), we’re making some headway in production and hoping for smoother sailing while we do some catching up. We're really excited to be getting some great help this year…it’s made a big difference in just a few short months!

Since we’re still knee-deep into COVID…our spring studio sale is canceled, so we’ll be posting an extra large batch of pans for our annual Online Sale coming up next month!

The Online Sale is happening Thursday, March 25th at 10am PT! We’ll be posting 700 pans with a 7 month processing time...because it's such a large batch, we’re having our sale early this year so we can start shipping sooner. As always, orders will be processed as they are received and everything will ship out in time for the holidays. You can find details and information about how the sale works on our SHOP PAGE

Last year’s Online Sale sold out extra fast…so FYI, we also have our Monthly Lotteries every 1st Sunday of the month. We introduced the lottery system a few years back because the online sales were such a frenzy. Holiday announcements...

We just shipped off the last of the Spring Online Sale orders! It was an extra large batch this year…just when I thought we wouldn’t make it, the last of the pans went into production…such a nice feeling! Thank you all so much for your notes of encouragement and well wishes along the way!

Now we’re excited to get ready for our upcoming Holiday Lottery!!!

Since we're having to cancel our Holiday Studio Sale this year, we'll be awarding as many lottery recipients as we can and making as many pans as possible in the meantime. There will be three pan categories in addition to the "Choice of Pans" - these will include our most requested 2020 lottery picks: the 10" French Skillet, the 10" Fry Pan and the 13" Gratin. We'll also have some copper salt bowl sets and saucier pans as well.

The Holiday Lottery opens Sunday, December 6th at 3pm west coast time and closes the following Monday morning, December 7th at 10am - you can see a preview HERE along with details about how it works. There have been a lot of monkey wrenches this year, but thankfully not all monkey wrenches are bad...very happy to announce that WE’RE MARRIED!!! It's been on our to-do list for ages, but we could never find the time - then COVID happened, so… We had a little backyard ceremony on our 9-year anniversary and it was perfect! We started dating at 42 and date night was playing in the studio making things…here we are at 51, extraordinarily happy and incredibly grateful to be together and still making things. Thank you all so much for making it possible!!!

We’re looking forward to the time when COVID is over and we can open up our workshop again for Open Studios and Studio Sales - we miss you! In the meantime, we hope you're all doing well and staying cozy! We wish you a wonderful holiday season and hope to see you next year!

Spring is here...

Hope you’re all well and enjoying a beautiful spring at home!

With everything changing day by day, we’re feeling very lucky…since it’s just the two of us in the workshop, we’re isolated and it feels extra good to be working with our hands right now - we’ve been able to keep making pans while dodging the virus so far. We’ll do our best to keep on keeping on while making sure everyone is safe, but the coronavirus is definitely making an impact...

We’re sad to have to cancel our spring Studio Sale and our Open Studios are on hold indefinitely until we get the green light. We hope things improve soon and we’ll keep you posted on any new developments!

We’re happy to say that our Online Sale and Monthly Lotteries are still a go!!!

Our annual Online Sale is happening Thursday, April 30th at 10am PT! For those who aren’t familiar, this is an online posting of 600 pans and it takes us 6 months to complete production and process shipping. Happy spring! The workshop has finally warmed up enough that we can open the big bay doors and let some light in - it’s such a nice time of year to be in the studio!

Production is off to a great start and we’re looking forward to some upcoming springtime events…

Our Online Sale is happening soon, Thursday, April 25th at 10am PT. We’ll be doing a large posting again for this sale - 600 pans! Because it’s such a big post, production is ongoing and there’s a 6 month processing time. Orders will ship by November 15th in time for Thanksgiving!

Upcoming spring sales & events...

So glad spring is finally here! Production is in full swing, and we're in the process of making all the handles for the entire year...so nice to see parts finally start to pile up!

In the meantime, we wanted to let you know about some events coming up soon…

Our Spring Studio Sale is happening Saturday, May 5th, 12pm - 4pm! We'll have a couple of guest blacksmiths demoing, as well as light refreshments and 100+ pans! Our studio is located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle at 1122 NW 46th Street.

And we’re excited to announce our Online Sale! Thursday, May 17th at 10am PT. We're shooting for 500-600 pans for this sale - it will depend on how many we have in process at the time - crossing fingers! Production is ongoing and will continue through early November - all pans will be shipped out in time for Thanksgiving!

We've also started selling the pans through a lottery system. We post Monthly Lotteries every first Sunday of the month - for more information, see “How the lotteries work”. The lotteries also coincide with our Open Studio hours, noon to 3pm every 1st Sunday of the month - the forge is going and Patrick will demo throughout the afternoon. A new year and a few new things...

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! It feels good to be back in the studio hammering away and getting ready for the year!

We wanted to let you all know about a couple of things happening...

Our next Online Sale will be late spring, details TBD. We'll also have monthly online lotteries every first Sunday of the month this year - the first one is Sunday, February 4th. It opens at 3pm PT and closes the following Monday at 10am PT - you'll find a link to the Lottery page on the Announcement Bar at the top of the page of our website, and you can read about How the lottery works...HERE.

Holiday Lottery & Studio Sale

Hello,

Hope you're all getting ready for a wonderful holiday weekend! We're staying warm by the forge and keeping busy - we're just about to wrap up shipping for the fall online sale and we're getting ready for our online Holiday Lottery & local Studio Sale!

We've been working on some special items this year in preparation for the holidays. We'll have some of the copper salt bowl sets, stainless steel spoons and ladles, carbon steel cheese knives, and a few limited edition pans. We'll also have some trivets and IOU pan gift magnets available - essentially a gift certificate, but something to open up and hold onto until the pan arrives.

It's meant a lot to us to make these because it feels like it did back in the beginning when we were playing around in the studio making holiday gifts for family. We really hope you enjoy them. We'll be posting most of these items to the online Holiday Lottery, and we'll save some for our Studio Sale as well.

The online Holiday Lottery will open Sunday, December 3rd at 3PM PT and close Monday, December 4th at 10AM PT. We'll have a preview page up the Friday before - I'll post reminders to our Instagram and Facebook pages.

Our Holiday Studio Sale is happening Saturday, December 16th from Noon to 5PM. We'll have some special items, as well as 100+ pans. The forge will be going with demos all and light refreshments, so hope to see you if you're in the neighborhood!

Summer Production...Fall & Winter Sales

Hope you're all enjoying a wonderful summer! We've been busy making a ton of parts for the final year-end push and the summer has absolutely flown by!

Our fall Online Sale is coming up really soon - Thursday, September 7th at 10AM PDT. We're shooting for 400-500 pans for this sale - it depends on how many parts we have in process at the time of sale. Production and shipping will continue through early December.

We've also had fun in the studio this summer making some extra things like copper bowls and one-off stainless steel spoons and ladles. We'll have a special online Holiday Lottery at the end of the year with these few extra items. If you would like to see what we're working on between now and then, you can follow along on our Instagram page.

If you're in the Seattle area, our Holiday Studio Sale will be happening in December.  In the meantime, if you would like to stop by the studio to see the process, we have our Open Studio hours every 1st Sunday of the month from noon to 3PM. The Ballard Farmers Market is also happening at that time and is really worth a visit - it's just down the street and goes from 10AM - 3PM.

Our Spring Studio Sale is just around the corner!

A couple of upcoming events for the holidays!

We're getting close to shipping out the last of the orders from September's online sale - last ship day will be December 8th - and we're looking forward to a couple of upcoming local events to wrap up the holiday season!

We'll be part of a pop up event at the Equinox Studios Very Open House in Georgetown! There will be 100+ artists and artisans, guests, demos, music, food trucks, and so much more! This is a huge event - an entire city block of warehouse space dedicated to arts & industry and a great place to pick up local gifts for the holidays!

Shop update and a preview...

Thank you everyone for being so supportive and patient while we filled a ton of orders from last February's online sale! These past months have been a whirlwind, but we're wrapping things up and eager to take a break from shipping so we can focus on just making pans and gear up for our next online sale - which is coming up soon!

The next online sale will be: Wednesday, September 7th at 10:00AM PDT. In order to make as many pans available as possible, we'll only be selling the 10" & 13" pans. You can see the new shop page here.

We'll also be making pans for local sale during the holidays. We'll post details to our Instagram and Facebook pages as we are able.
